My Story
My journey with food started years ago—right around the time cupcakes took over the world. I was hooked on Cupcake Wars, Chopped, Ace of Cakes, and just about anything the Food Network had to offer. Growing up, you could always tell who was watching TV last based on the channel: if it was HGTV, my mom had the remote… if it was the news, definitely Dad… and if the Food Network was on? Yep—that was me.
I’ve had the privilege of living in different countries, and with each move, I fell more in love with the diverse cuisines of the world. (Maybe that’s why Italy stole my heart—and my stomach!) These days, traveling is just another excuse to hunt down local eats and hidden culinary gems.
When life gets stressful, I bake. It’s what helped me get through my PhD, one batch of cupcakes at a time. I’m constantly experimenting, tweaking, and adjusting recipes… and then forgetting what I did. So I started Whiskful Jasmin as a cozy corner to capture the magic, document the deliciousness, and give a big thank-you to my family for being the best (and bravest) taste testers around.
My Process
Every recipe here begins with heart and a hint of magic. From thoughtfully chosen ingredients to joyful taste-testing, I craft each dish with care, creativity, and a whole lot of whisking. Here's how the magic happens:

From seasonal produce to pantry staples, I choose ingredients that bring out the best flavors—often with a whimsical twist or nostalgic touch.
Slow & Stirred Creation
Whether it’s a cozy pot roast or a dreamy muffin, each recipe is tested, tweaked, and made with love (and usually a little flour on the counter).

Every dish is made to be shared—from my kitchen to yours. I write recipes with clarity and warmth, so anyone can bring a little magic to the table.
